What Can I do at Hitters Ball Park ?

Use the batting cage, pitching machines, the skinned infield, pitchers mound, fly balls, base running, etc...

What does it cost ?

Depends.  Rent the entire facility for $35 per hour.  Batting cage only $20 per hour/$10 per half hour.  Quite a bargain when you consider what you get.

Who is Michael Peterson ?

Michael is the owner of Hitters Ball Park.  Michael has five children, all of whom play or played softball.  He has coached twelve season of baseball or softball.  He is a student of the game and wanted a facility to run clinics, team practices and individual instruction.  Michael can be a resource for advanced instruction beyond what Hitters Ball park can offer.

What is a Swing-Away ?

The Swing-Away is a device that allows hitting instruction and practice swings without having to shag balls or risk injury having kids put balls on a T for another to hit. (My oldest daughter has a pin in her hand from a T accident.

When is the best time to start my child  ?

As soon as you child expresses an interest. Starting early (5-7) with a few minutes proper throwing and hitting technique can save hours of "re-training" later.  It's much easier to develop good habits than break old ones. Good intentioned T-ball and coach pitch parents can mess kids up for years unless they learn good techniques and skills.  It's not hard and free if a coach gives us a call.
